Applied research & outreach activities

As an animal scientist, I conduct research with agricultural & biomedical applications, and strive to provide extension programming that supports livestock producers and youth involved in 4H livestock programs.

Partnerships with various farmers and ranchers in Maui county is a key driver of this applied research and outreach program. I am thankful for the friendships and collaborations maintained with other scientists, industry stakeholders, and livestock producers in Hawaii, the USA and abroad.

This website serves as a conduit to disseminate science-based information regarding various aspects of livestock production to farmers, ranchers, 4-H volunteers, 4-H youth, allied industry stakeholders, Ag lenders, veterinarians and consultants.
